Champagne

from Connecticut by Connecticut

/

lyrics

Come down
Come see me make a fool of myself
Right now
You're probably off with somebody else

This year
I made a vow to protect my brain
Those girls
Don't know a thing about drinking champagne

But I'm too gone now

With you
Oh no when I get you alone
Avoidance
As I sit on a hypocrite's throne

Show me
Show me how I'll be throwing up next
You'll say "You're dumb"
As I look down at the cigarette

But I'm too gone now
Too figure you out
The taste of the confidence slowly drips
Out my mouth
